There’s been some new activity from the Onitsuka Tiger California 78 in recent months, and today we see that this movement is indeed intended to coincide with the classic runner’s 35th anniversary. Here we see a new style commemorating just that occasion, as the vintage Asics running shoe returns in its original colorway with a reminder that it was the first to utilize a reflective heel panel. This style inspired by nighttime jogs in Japan will release in 1978 pairs starting July 1st and you can see more images below.
