Air Jordan 5 “Shanghai Shen”

Air Jordan 5 “Shanghai Shen”

Air Jordan 5 Shanghai

So it appears that the Air Jordan 5 with that “Black Laney” looking color combination isn’t tied into the school at all. Instead, the sneakers seem to be related to the greater set of Shanghai releases that we’ve seen in 2013. As pointed out by a number of our readers, the logo on the back end of the shoes contains the Chinese “Shen”, an abbreviation for Shanghai (This logo has been seen on other Nike releases from this year’s “Ignite Shanghai” group). As a result, early talk of their release has them pegged as a China exclusive, a cruel fate that would reflect the region biased nature of previous Air Jordan 5 pairs like the “Tokyo 23”.
