They’ve done so by teaming up with pro skaters, like the legendary Mark Gonzales for the adidas Skateboarding Gonz Pro, and by adjusting older models to fit a skater’s needs. One such shoe that adapts an older adidas style into a new skate shoe is this adidas Skateboarding ZX Vulc. The shoe takes various stylistic cues from adidas ZX runners and combines them with technological upgrades, like the vulcanized sole, that allow them to be better used for skating.
