The Converse Auckland Racer is a silhouette whose upper has been updated before – the biggest change we can remember came in the form of those Missoni remixes. This time around the aim seems to be modernizing the silhouette, as the shoe has now been outfitted with what they’re calling an “Engineered Canvas Jacquard” that allows for a one-piece upper on this Converse design. Take a look at the colorways that will debut this new take on the Auckland Racer below and watch for the Mint Leaf and Fiery Coral to launch at Converse retail stores, Bodega in Boston, Juice in Hong Kong and Patta in Amsterdam on Friday, Aug. 15 for a suggested retail price of $120 USD. After that, look for the red, white, and navy to show up on August 22nd for the same price.
