If one were to initiate an overview of the 2014 sneaker landscape, and all of its major players, similar to All-NBA 2nd or 3rd team, you’d find the adidas Originals EQT Running Support ’93 among those ranks. Rightfully so, the silhouette acts as a vital layer in a massive onion of sneakers. Similarly, as with professional sports, theres honorable mention – players who may not be all-stars, but are on the rise, and that you should take note of for potential if nothing else. For all intents and purposes, thats the adidas EQT Running Cushion ’91. Not near as vocal this year as its aforementioned counterpart, yet the Running Cushion ’91 is very much in the yearbook pages of 2014. Fittingly, to close the year in almost a sign of things to come, the silhouette returns in two new schemes for the holidays. Both the “Collegiate Royal” and “Solid Grey & Collegiate Royal” variations encompass a suede and mesh constructed upper paired with ribboned Three Stripes, EVA midsole, and reinforced heel cage.
