The Shoe Gallery x New Balance MT580 Revlite will hit retailers on November 22nd, 2014. Nicknamed the “Le Tour de Miami”, we previewed the pair thanks to a teaser video that featured the New Balance MT580 pedaling around the Florida metropolis. As far as inspirations go, we rarely see any motives behind a sneaker deal with cycling, but here we get just that, as the Revlite technology created such a lightweight rendition of the retro running sneaker that it immediately sparked a correlation between the difference of aluminum framed bikes and those made with carbon fiber. With that, Shoe Gallery ran with a Tour de France motif but gave the sneaker a local taste of Miami with vibrant blue suede hues throughout inspired by cycling apparel brand Rapha.
