Damian Lillard has become one of the premier point guards in the NBA with his clutch gene running rampant not only in the regular season but in last year’s playoffs against Houston. The Portland guard will rightfully get his first signature sneaker, the adidas D Lillard 1, sometime in 2015. The shoe will help usher in a much needed low cut silhouette for the three stripes who currently boast a plethora of guards on their roster. Lillard has the added benefit of a neoprene sock liner, flexible tech fit upper, and perforated ventilation throughout. The debut pair will most likely be this Portland-theme, one that features a Kobe 9-esque marbled outsole, larger-than-life branding on the heel, and red accents throughout the black base.
