adidas Hoops has bolstered one of the strongest basketball lineups in their history. Between John Wall‘s breakout season, Derrick Rose returning to form with a formidable Bulls squad, and Dwight Howard bolstering a strong defensive front in Houston, and now Damian Lillard, the three stripes are back on the hardwood in a big way. One of the things that was missing from their signature arsenal was a lowtop silhouette though, and that’s where this adidas D Lillard 1 comes in. Featuring a comfortable neoprene mesh sock liner, the shoe boasts a mesh construction for ventilation on the toebox and side panels while bigger than life branding arrives on the mismatched heels – the adidas on one, and the new D Lillard logo on the other. Today we get to see an ‘Alternate’ sample, one that dons a vibrant red while black serves as an accent. What do you think?
