We already know that the adidas Originals Superstar is poised to have quite the year in 2015. Collaborative efforts by Pharrell and Deluxe bring-backs are already at play, and know longstanding collaborator Yohji Yamamoto has something to say on the classic shell-toe through his Y3 label. These “Zipper Stars” feature a luxe lifestyle rendition of three zippers playfully added to the branding on the side panels and the shell toe gets streamlined by ditching the ridges for a smooth, matte black leather finish. No word yet on when exactly we’ll see this pair headed to stateside retailers, but you can grab a full look at the latest adidas Originals x Yohji Yamamoto team-up below.
