Rarely do hip-hop artists win Oscar awards (the Three-Six Mafia is the last that we recall), but this past weekend, the Chicago native Common scored a gold statue for his work on “Glory” for the motion picture Selma. Before the awards, however, he was given an awesome gift in the form of gold Jordans; the shoes are not a PE of any kind, but the work of Matthew Senna, whose work we featured here.
