Boston’s own Concepts continues their relationship with fellow Bostonian New Balance with this custom New Balance 574 in honor of the upcoming Boston running event. The colorway will be exclusive to the Concepts Cambridge location and features a premium suede upper in a vibrant blue in reference of the marathon’s official logo and even hints at the blue medals given to the competing marathon runners. The shoe doesn’t skip out on luxury either, as that famous Horween leather tooling arrives on the side panels, but the real catch here is on the shoe’s heel, as a laser etching of the Boston skyline appears on a supple grey suede with ‘Boston 2015’ displaying in bold typeface. Be on the lookout for this NB 574 to arrive at Concepts Cambridge on April 18th at 10am at $170 a piece, and if you’re not in Boston for the release, you can always try your luck with a subsequent online release later that afternoon.
