We’re hesitant to call this colorway the ‘Thunderstruck’ Nike KD 7 due to Kevin Durant‘s brief and forgetful foray into acting, but it would be fitting given the harsh lightning bolt zig zags on the posite heel. It’s been almost a year since the KD 7 released, and with a usual reliance for his Elite model this time of year, it’s surprising that the Swoosh continues to give us new colorways. That might have to do with Durant’s injury-ridden season and the fact that his Oklahoma City Thunder squad missed out on the post-season due to his absence. This pair joins the LeBron 12 and Kobe 10 as a member of the ‘Flight Collection’ with a unique tongue logo featuring a hawk gripping a KD branded basketball. The black base deviates from the usual vibrance seen atop Kevin’s seventh signature and allows for the accents of Light Retro and University Red to get most of the shine. The Nike KD 7 “Flight” will be available this Friday, May 1st for $150.
