Sneaker boutiques consistently show love to their home cities, but none do it as persistently as Rick and Ro of Burn Rubber. They bring the Ventilator back to U.S. soil with this mix of grey tones and blue, red, and yellow to pay tribute to Boble Island, an amusement park deeply rooted in childhood memories for the natives of the city. The grey appliques are indeed a nod to the ferry boats that house the actual park, while the comparatively vibrant tones represent the Boblo Island colors and logo. The design is finished off with Burn Rubber branding on the heel and their chef mascot on the lace dubrae. These are available this Saturday at Reebok retailers worldwide.
