You’ll Have To Wait Till Next Season To See LeBron Wearing the Nike LeBron Soldier 9

“There’s always next year.” The city of Cleveland is uttering those very words for the 52nd straight season in their collective sports history, but with one LeBron James at the helm, they couldn’t be in a better position for 2016. Perhaps LeBron could’ve used a boost by breaking out this LeBron Soldier 9 pair. In the days before the Elite Series, LBJ could be found making deep playoff runs with an undermanned Cavs team in his Soldier series. This year’s Finals saw James reverting back to those tendencies out of pure necessity, so the the Soldier 9 could’ve been a nice nod to his past playoff footwear choices. The silhouette has an unique enough construction thanks a fuse and mesh base getting a helping hand from underlying flywire cables. A zig-zagging strap layout helps secure the midfoot while the ankle collar is supported by an overlay as well. This colorway has the whole back to school motif thanks to a notebook-like speckling on the black side panel. What do you think of the latest LeBron model? Check out more photos below.
