A Detailed Look At The Pigalle x Nike Dunk Lux

The collaboration between Nike and Stephane Ashpool tells an authentic story highlighting the love of basketball and some cherished Nike sneakers of the past. The first run of Pigalle x Nike featured the Air Force 1 as well as the Air Raid, a sneaker that the French-born designer often wore during outdoor pick-up basketball games. He’s selecting another regional favorite, the Nike Dunk, to express this crossover of 90s streetball and fashion, and the resultant product is a Dunk unlike anything ever created. Premium materials, a unique multi-layer aesthetic, and a cut-out at the heel elevate this classic Nike shoe to new heights, while the dotted upper, which represents a basketball shot clock, reminds us of the genuine basketball origin of this iconoclastic design. The Pigalle x Nike Dunk Lux is expected to release this Saturday, June 27th at NikeLab retailers worldwide, including Taiwan’s Invincible.
