Known as one of the shoes that really kick-started the current trend of sought-after New Balance collabs, the Concepts x New Balance 999 “Kennedy” was released in early 2011. For whatever reason, since then we’ve barely seen that silhouette used for collaborative projects despite its early success. That looks to be changing soon, as today Louisiana’s Sneaker Politics have teased an upcoming 999 collab, dubbed the “Case 999”. No images of the shoe have been revealed yet, but if they’re anything like many of the past collabs from Louisiana’s favorite boutique, expect a local bayou theme.
