As usual, Kevin Durant’s former college squad, the University of Texas, gets an exclusive colorway of his signature shoe. Now that we’re on the KD 8, you knew a PE or two for the Longhorns was coming, and now we get a first look at one thanks to the UT Basketball Equipment Twitter account. The color scheme is just what you’d expect, featuring the Flyweave upper in white and grey with the signature shade of Texas burnt orange providing the accents. There’s no word that this will be the retail “Texas” version of the new KD sneaker that’s become a tradition each year, so we’ll assume this is a PE for the current Texas team for now.
