Basketball is heading north of the border for the 2015 NBA All-Star Game. Toronto will host the festivities and adidas Hoops plans to honor the occasion with a brand new footwear collection inspired by the Northern Lights. The most noteworthy model featured in the collective has to be the adidas D Lillard 2 Primeknit, Damian Lillard’s second signature model with the three stripes that sees a Multi-Color woven upper transform the silhouette into a model that can compete with Kobe’s latest. A purple and red finish is said to nod at the neon tendencies of the Aurora Borealis but the look also doubles as a call back to the Toronto Raptors’ original jersey colors. Also included in the collection is the adidas Crazylight Boost 2.5 and adidas D Rose 6 Boost (each also feature the woven upper and a glow in the dark finish). The adidas Hoops Aurora Borealis Collection will launch early 2016. More photos below.
