How did Nike reveal the next Kevin Durant signature shoe, the Nike KD 9? By hand-delivering these awesome small figurines as an appetizer to tomorrow’s huge Nike Innovation event in New York City. We just received ours, so we decided to share with you a close-up look at the KD 9; based on what we can see, the KD 9 features a low-cut design with an extended tongue, a honeycombed traction pattern with a deep groove at the forefoot, and a unique heel outsole structure that has targeted indents similar to what Tuned Air did for Air Max back in the late 1990s.
