Berlin-based Solebox keeps dropping collaborative bangers throughout 2016 and the hot streak continues with the latest ASICS offering. Solebox linked up with ASICS for the ASICS Gel Lyte III “Carpenter Bee” earlier this year, and now the aesthetic is back with an all-new silhouette, the lifestyle-inclined ASICS Gel Lyte Runner. Known as the “Carpenter Bee II”, the premium hits of black leather and grey suede accentuate the simple construction of the Gel Lyte Runner’s build. Inspired by the iconic early 90s running models, this lifestyle selection simplifies the outsole and midsole unit to better serve casual use while the side panel piping is camouflaged through a matching black leather. Added perforations hit the ankle collar while a luxurious light blue leather lining adds a smooth finish. Reflective Solebox branding hits the ASICS Gel Lyte Runner’s heel.
