Jordan Brand’s Remastering process continues with the release of the latest ‘Nike Air’ wielding Air Jordan 5 retro. The legendary Jordan 5 Black Metallic is back in a way almost identical to the way Tinker Hatfield designed them all the way back in 1990. The upper consists of a higher quality Durabuck material in jet black while the visible air unit is pre-aged with a yellowish tint. The 3M tongue returns but the real highlight here is the white ‘Nike Air’ branding on the heel replacing the Jumpman logo that took over dating back to the early 2000s.
