Nike Combines Greatest Hits For Air Max 1 “Masters Of Air”

Leading up to last year’s Air Max Day, Nike Sportswear put a spotlight on the “Masters of Air”, a roster of hardcore hoarders of all-things Air Max footwear. For Air Max 2017, these Masters of Air put their heads together and created the Nike Air Max 1 “Masters Of Air”, which combines the greatest Air Max 1 hits onto one shoe.

The upper features the signature perforations from the Kid Robot x Air Max 1 upper, but the real detail that shines is the mosaic of patterns, colors, and materials on the mudguard that further pay homage to the greatest hits of Tinker Hatfield’s Air Max 1. Patta’s “Chlorophyll” Air Max 1, atmos’ “Viotech”, and many more of grail-status AM1s are infused into this “What The”-style release. These are expected to drop for Air Max Day 2017 on March 26th.
