While adidas isn’t the Triple White and Triple Black pioneer, it certainly made it a trend thanks to one of the brand’s most successful shoes in history. The adidas NMD R1 Primeknit is set to return this August in the familiar all-black and all-white look, both featuring contrasting lettering in Japanese on the forefoot NMD block. We’ve already seen the Japanese lettering on Primeknit NMDs in the past, but not in this style. These are likely to stay at the $170 pricepoint, unless adidas has some plans to incrementally raise prices of their best-sellers like Jordan Brand did with their popular Retro models.
