The adidas ClimaCool 02/17 Releasing in 2 New Colorways Later This Month

adidas revamped seemingly every model in the original EQT lineup so what’s next for the brand? The adidas ClimaCOOL was one of the most breathable running offerings in the early 2000s and the technology remains as relevant as ever today. The three stripes decided to add a modern twist to the silhouette with the introduction of the adidas ClimaCOOL 02/17 that improves on the blueprint thanks to a welded TPU and concealed lacing system for a minimalist design perfect for any occasion. The first head-turning feature you’ll notice about the ClimaCOOL might not even be its hallmark mesh technology but the Adiprene tooling with translucent overlays.

Today we get a look at two brand new colorways in Mystery Ruby and Collegiate Blue for understated options perfect for the back to school season. The original ClimaCOOL bubble branding returns to the tongue, but this time the ankle support comes in slip-on form for a comfortable albeit aggressive look. Which colorway are you feeling?
