The Vans Half Cab gets a trippy makeover this fall compliments of Arizona-based skate collective Pyramid Country. The shoe looks fairly unassuming at first, featuring a white suede, ballistic nylon, and leather upper with a gum sole, but turn out the lights and you soon find out that the sole holds a special secret: it glows in the dark. The glowing sole is on par with the skate crew’s trippy, extraterrestrial inspired aesthetic, which also shines through on the insoles depicting a celestial scene and embossed tetrahedron logos on the medial ankles.
The Pyramid Country x Vans Half Cab Pro drops this Saturday, September 23rd at Vans Pro Skate retailers worldwide. In other Vans collab news, the latest collection with Supreme drops tomorrow.
