Tinker Hatfield Says The Nike HyperAdapt 2.0 Will Be A Basketball Shoe

Tinker Discusses Hyperadapt 2 0 For Basketball

The mystery surrounding the Nike HyperAdapt 2.0 just got a little clearer, thanks to some insider information from none other than Tinker Hatfield. One of the brains behind Nike’s self-lacing technology, Tinker recently sat down with High Snobiety for an interview in London where he was in attendance to celebrate the first launch of the HyperAdapt 1.0 in Europe, and had this to say when asked about what’s in store for the second edition of the innovative sneaker technology: “There is a 2.0, and it’s specific to basketball. And we think it’s going to be one of the best basketball shoes ever.”

Tinker went on to say that the HyperAdapt 2.0 is still in development and Nike doesn’t exactly know when it will be completed, but they plan for it to be on the NBA court when it’s all said and done. “It will be there for sure”, says Tinker. Catch the full interview below.
