Although Nike has officially called this new colorway of the Air Max 97 for women ‘Taupe Grey’, the general consensus is that they definitely appear to be more of a muted lavender hue than taupe (which is defined as a brownish-grey). We’re guessing most ladies don’t really care what the color is named, as long as they look good—which they certainly do. Featuring the color in question tonally across the upper, the Air Max 97 adds some texture contrast with alternating panels in matte, glossy, and reflective material with black and white accents. Pairs arrive at select Nike Sportswear retailers globally beginning tomorrow, October 14th.
