European menswear retailer END has teamed up with Diadora to pay tribute to the footwear brand’s Italian roots. This special Diadora V7000 creation mimics the luxurious renaissance period theatre decor with red suede and leather on the uppers representing the balconies tiering the stage. Rope ties replace the traditional lacing system on the running retro that signify the tassels that are used to hoist open the curtain when a performance is ready to begin. The unique iteration also comes with luxurious packaging, housed in a soft velvety box with a matching travel bag. 150 individually numbered pairs of the END. x Diadora V7000 ‘Opera’ will release exclusively at END. on November 4th.
