Update: The BAPE x adidas Dame 4 will release during NBA All-Star Weekend 2018.
Images have surfaced of what could potentially be a monumental collaboration for adidas, all centered around the adidas Dame 4. The images show two colorways of the Dame 4 decked out in what is apparently BAPE decals. Both shoes pictured feature camo uppers, one black and one green, and feature BAPE’s signature decals on the toes and midsoles of both shoes. There has been no official word whatsoever from adidas on this potential collaboration, but rumors point to a release in February 2018 during the All-Star weekend in Los Angeles. This may be part of a larger shift towards collaborating basketball stars with high-end fashion that was kick-started by Nike’s LeBron collaborations with KITH and John Elliott.
