Music executive and businessman, Steve Stoute, teamed up with veterans of the sneaker industry to open up a footwear and retail space in the heart of San Fransisco named “Stashed”. The boutique emphasizes cultural history and utilizes a museum-quality aesthetic across the 2,240 square-foot space with three separate galleries. Stoute’s design team instilled a touch of technology into the store as well, as pressure plates are activated when a shoe is picked up, detailing the backstory of the particular product in the form of programmable text.

“Stashed embodies a contemporary and abstracted interpretation of urban exploration,” West of West (the designer of the space) co-founder Jai Kumaran said. “By transforming raw materials into new textures we are able to blur the line between different spaces and environments to create discovery and excitement.”

Stashed will carry adidas, Nike, New Balance, New Era, Puma, Stone, Island, Y-3 and many more brands across the sneaker industry as well as streetwear culture. Located at 2360 3rd Street, this modernized sneaker boutique is not to be missed if you are in the Bay Area.
