asphaltgold Teams Up With ASICS For A Special GEL-DS Trainer

asphaltgold has taken its creative talents to ASICS to create a GEL-DS Trainer iteration that pays its respects to the shop’s home city of Mathildenhöhe. Known to the world as an architectural masterpiece, the inspiration for this collection derives from that idea. Designed with the highest quality materials, it gives off a luxurious aesthetic that can only be achieved by the ASICS brand. asphaltgold branding can be seen on the taping of the tongue as well as the flag label in the rear of the sneaker and on the insole. A special edition metal box will finish off this exclusive sneaker release and it will be accompanied by two extra sets of Rose Taupe and Evening Sand laces alongside the customary branded ones.

The sneakers will be distributed in an unconventional manner, as tickets must first be purchased on March 16th from asphaltgold’s ACG store for 10€. This will act as both a reservation for your size and a downpayment on your particular pair. The tickets grant you access to a release event the next night in the Designhouse Darmstadt where you will be required to pay the remaining 140€ cash.
