Ben Felderstein After months of rumors, speculation, and puzzling leaks, adidas finally officially announced their collaborative collection with the famed Dragon Ball Z franchise. Set to pay homage to the show’s most recognizable characters and a number of its famed battles, the sneakers are set to release in honor of these heralded moments. One of those characters represented will be the ever-changing, diaper-wearing antagonist, Majin Buu. Opting to use the soccer-inspired Kamanda as Buu’s vessel, it comes done up in a fitting soft pink color scheme to honor the character’s colored exterior that stays with him no matter which form he takes. It’s heel tab ushers in a familiar detail for die-hard fans of the series, as Majin’s signature “M” motif can be seen in its customary cursive typeface. DBZ branded insoles and Japanese characters underneath it’s outsole complete this hotly-anticipated selection that is slated to arrive at select retailers this Fall.
