Sneaker News adidas is placing some heavier influence on the “chunky” retro runner with that late 1990s styling. The adidas Yung 1, for example, has been one of brand’s more attractive silhouettes of the year, releasing in a small crop of colorways and making an appearance in the adidas Dragon Ball Z collection, while the newer Falcon catapulted off that model’s aesthetic for a women’s exclusive offering. Returning to stores once more (but not for the first time) is the adidas Temper Run, a running shoe from 1997 that shares the same layered construction that lends to some wacky color-blocking as seen here in these two new releases. The Tempers dropped back in 2014 to very little fanfare, but with footwear trends focused on the heavier running shoe look, they might fare better in 2018. These two new colorways are available now at select retailers like Oneness.
