Aleali May Has Another Air Jordan 1 Collaboration Dropping In December

When stylist/model Aleali May first collaborated on the Air Jordan 1 in October of 2017, her alternate take on a classic “Shadow”-style colorway sent the world of sneakers into a frenzy and garnered discussion as one of Jordan Brand’s best collaborations of the year. Now, she’s set to return again with another AJ1 collaboration dropping this December that eschews the ’90s look provided by her satin jacket and corduroy pant-inspired first design. Arriving in its place is a far more colorful take on the high-top sneaker complete with a flamboyant removable fur tongue patch — an embellishment unlike anything that’s been seen before from the Jumpman. Apart from the striking detachable ball of fur, the shoes also offer a wild color scheme with the upper’s panels done up in blue, orange, soft pink, and rich purple, while black accents on the throat and tongue/a white midsole rein in the lavish trappings just enough. Enjoy a first look at May’s new kicks below, and expect them to release this December with a retail price of $160 USD.
