The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Origin Story” Will Release In Full Family Sizes

Everyone’s favorite web slinger is receiving a new origin story this holiday season. “Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse,” features young Miles Morales — not Peter Parker — as a fresh-faced Spider-Man who has to cross between dimensions and team up with other Spider-Men to combat the hulking crime boss Kingpin. Of course, Spidey has always been known to be stylish, and Miles Morales ramps his trademark New York swagger up a notch, rocking a fresh pair of Air Jordan 1 Retro High OGs while fighting evil. They’re not just a movie prop either: the Air Jordan 1 “Origin Story,” featuring Spidey-centric detailing will be releasing alongside the film. The new shoes take a classic “Chicago” colorway and add some unique new twists: comic-style Ben-Day dot detailing on the red overlays, a bright blue tongue tag, and an icy blue translucent outsole all appear for a wall crawler-worthy twist on one of Michael Jordan’s most iconic pieces of footwear. Like the look? They’ll be releasing in full family sizes — the men’s pair is pictured both above and below — at Nike SNKRS and select Jordan Brand stockists on December 14th.
