Ross Dwyer Nike’s Air Max Plus has been celebrating two decades on the market in style, releasing in a cornucopia of colors both classic and new. It’s a testament to the shoe’s design that it still manages to look futuristic and fashion-forward after such an extended period in the game, and now the Plus has popped up in yet another new colorway: a combo of light grey and volt. Light grey mesh and striking silver plastic overlays provide the majority of the upper’s style, while toxic volt accents arrive via the midfoot’s jewel swoosh and the tongue logo. Grey nubuck is used on both the mudguard and the heel — which of course features a classic yellow TN badge — and the shoe is then completed by a while midsole with silver Air Max units and a chromed-out plastic midfoot shank.
