David Obadia’s guidance since the label’s inception in 2014 has brought them to the final rounds of the ANDAM prize, with that forward-facing attitude bleeding into their forthcoming Asics collaboration. Left monochrome as is fitting of the house’s minimal style, the Gel Kayano 25 comes in twos: one dressed in a luxe finishing of metallic silver while the next a bolder arrangement of fluorescent yellow tones. Many of the core elements on the silhouette are left true to the original — with its enduring technology refining the user experience — though the pairing of palettes further pushes the runner into a realm of discerning high-end. Both colorways are set to arrive on January 26th exclusively at the brand’s flagship store and webstore, though a wider release at select retailers is slated for February 2nd.
