Nike Previews The “Have A Nike Day” Pack In China

Nike’s extensive Rolodex of classic marketing catchphrases continues to serve as inspiration for their lifestyle footwear. After last year’s seemingly boundless slate of “Just Do It” drops, the Swoosh Brand is now calling upon another slogan — albiet a slightly lesser-known one — for inspiration in 2019: “Have A Nike Day,” a term used in ’90s marketing campaigns and recently re-energized by the publicity around Sean Wotherspoon’s popular hybrid Air Max 1/97s.

The “Have A Nike Day” pack consists of classic Air Max styles like the Air Max 1, Air Max 95, and Air Max 97, and calls upon a duo of color palettes — a slate of chilly blues and a retro combo of bold/bright pastel tones — making for shoes that are eye-catching yet light-hearted and whimsical, much like the phrase itself. Although various pairs from the collection have been popping up over the last few weeks, Nike recently displayed several of the most anticipated styles from the pack at their Greater China Air Max Day preview event, thereby indicating that they’ll be coming to market this spring/summer — likely around Air Max Day, March 26th. Check out some of the “Have A Nike Day” silhouettes below, and stay tuned to our Sneaker Release Dates page for collection updates as they’re available.
