Michael Le Though the Ultra Boost 2019 redoes the entire scheme of the tried-and-true design, adidas is not quite ready to let go of its original masterpiece, donning its likeness — with a few touches, of course — onto a women’s exclusive iteration. Light in its execution, the entirety of the palette is left transitioning from subtle creams to bright white synthetics. Grays outline the entire toe box, seen in a knit pattern more akin to the 1.0s, with profile stripes shining in a bold, baby blue. What may be most surprising, as the silhouette is oft-seen in a singular piece, is the addition of a toe box overlay à la the Kinfolk collaboration from a few months back.
