The Nike Air Max Plus Equips A Foamposite Shell-Like Upper

On its own, the Air Max Plus comes equipped with one of the most boisterous uppers of any Nike Sportswear creation out there, but for its next act it is kicking it up a notch with the presence of a Foamposite shell-like upper. Ushering in a matte finish, this head-turning design opts for an iridescent combination of purple and blue while the rest of its body – sole unit included – call upon a contrasting note of black. In an effort to match this iteration’s clear focal point, Beaverton’s designers added one more flash of purple to this 1998 design’s midfoot plate, insole, and outsole. Avid Swoosh heads looking for another unique Air Max Plus to lace up this Spring will be able to do so when these arrive on Nike.com in the coming weeks.
