Jordan To Release A Quartet Of Air Jordan 1 Lows Inspired By Skateboarding

Jordan To Release A Quartet Of Air Jordan 1 Lows Inspired By Skateboarding

After its initial debut on the hardwood in 1985, the Air Jordan 1 quickly made its way onto the streets and into the skate parks on the feet of professional and amateur skateboarders alike. Beyond its performance-engineered construction, its color palettes began intriguing skaters looking to define street style within their sport, and its presence of the feet of Lance Mountain in a 1987 video secured the icon as a certified classic in the skate community. While not a Nike SB collaboration like its Air Jordan 1 High counterparts, the Jumpman is rolling out a slue of Jordan 1 Low colorways that pay homage to the model’s role within the SB sphere this Spring.

Premium materials and stitched on heel logos help complete this quartet that comes highlighted by a beloved “Black Toe” iteration, with supporting help from University Gold, Hyper Pink, and Pine Green varieties as well. Grab a look at all four skate-inspired Jordan 1 Lows ahead and look out for them to start releasing at select spots on April 1st.
