Among JW Anderson‘s many Converse collaborations, his humble yet boldly transformed Chuck 70s surely take the cake, reaching a synergistic pinnacle in various modifications of glitter logo hits or even gigantic hiking outsoles. Effectively creating his own staple along the canvas uppers of an icon, the eccentric is ushering back in his grid tooling and aptly named Run Star Hike. While the latter is much more contemporary in execution, as it utilizes the aggressive sole unit along a versatile black construction this time around, the former arrives loud enough to steal the show. Recognizable branding of the eponymous label are adorned throughout in standout fashion, intersecting the lines and stars of the newly added American flag print. Asymmetric in arrangement, the right foot dons the signature red and white with the left opting for the much cooler hued appearance of the 50 state symbolism.

If you’re looking to grab either of the two for yourself, be sure to keep it locked in as they will become available on April 18th at select retailers as well as Converse.com.
