Coinciding with today’s start of the PGA Championship at Bethpage Black, Nike has released an eye-catching “Safari Bred” edition of the shoe, which features a sleek black patent and smooth leather above a metallic red footbed. For one of the other upcoming majors, the Swoosh is getting a bit more playful with this new denim iteration of the Air Jordan 11, a nod to the notoriously strict apparel regulations that have persisted in the sport since its inception. While we may never see a pair of distressed jeans on the green, this upcoming colorway concept, which will also be featured across other silhouettes such as the Air Max 1 G and Roshe Tour G, gets the job done when it comes to infusing a casual vibe to the sport.
