BEAMS Officially Unveils Upcoming Nike React Presto “Dharma” Collaboration

Japanese institution BEAMS has grown to adopt many a new collaboration in the past year from footwear to high-end, with the latest Nike partnerhship celebrating their 40th Anniversary atop the innovative Presto React. Quite imaginative in all regards, the commemorative colorway dubbed “Dharma” takes inspiration from the culturally iconic Daruma dolls; fittingly so, their likeness in toony caricature form rests proudly on the insole much like many of the prior entries into the silhouette’s line-up. Design is loud yet conversely muted as an asymmetric motif acts as a voice for the imprint’s whimsical ethos. The lateral acts as a quiet alternative with white accent only broken up by loud hits of orange while the lateral opts for a chaotic mosaic of vibrant tones throughout the mesh, synthetic, and cages from the toe all the way back to the heel counter. Grab a detailed look at the pair below and expect a release to go down at BEAMS and Nike.com on May 25th.
