Both have bonded over a common life event – the passing of their mothers – and have devoted efforts to raise funds for cancer treatment centers through sneakers, and in late 2017 they collaborated on a special limited edition of the Kyrie 3 created for the purpose of honoring the matriarchs of their families. On his IG stories, Kyrie Irving just revealed that he’s teamed up with the Jersey City-based sneaker retailer once more, showing three iterations of the Nike Kyrie 5 dotted with colored hearts and floral embellishments. It’s likely that the shoes will release in extremely limited quantities with proceeds going to charity, so stay tuned for Sneaker Room to make an official announcement soon.
