Official Images Of The Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 MoMA Emerge

After Virgil Abloh‘s Off-White Air Force 1 “MCA” was the talk of this last weekend’s ComplexCon, the powerful polymath is right back in the headlines again, albeit for a surprising reason: official images of his Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 “MoMA” that released in 2018 have unexpectedly surfaced. A design that debuted as part of a special collection with the famed NYC art museum — and only released in the Big Apple — these ultra-limited and highly lauded Nike shoes are unquestionably one of the most valuable pairs that Abloh has ever created, fetching four-figure sums with a lead number that’s not 1 on the resale market. Colored in a stark black leather with their main detail coming by way of large silver Swooshes on the lateral and medial sides, they certainly cut a striking figure as well. The look is accented further by signature Helvetica text on the medial quarter, an “AIR” hit on the lateral midsole, and a bold orange tab on the lateral Swoosh, while a special translucent zip tie provides a finishing touch. The appearance of official images does not necessarily guarantee another release, but it’s not out of the realm of possibility that these famous Forces could appear via shock drop in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more info as it’s available, and enjoy the aforementioned images directly below in the meantime.
