Saint Alfred And Vans Vault To Release Limited “Acid” Pack With Artwork By Ben Marcus

Saint Alfred And Vans Vault To Release Limited “Acid” Pack With Artwork By Ben Marcus

Saint Alfred traverses the trippy world of psychedelics with its latest collaborative Vans Authentic, painting a picture of chaotic visuals and sensory overload with a theme fittingly dubbed the “Acid” pack. With artwork sprawled by the ever-surreal Ben Marcus, the pairs come to life in its option between neutral monochromatic and vibrant yellows. Checkerboard prints see their way across the white midsole for a note of Jazz Stripe heritage while the uppers are left traditional in shape. Their all-over prints, however, are anything but with the both pairs sporting an almost white noise mosaic with notable contrast by way of the white splatters and crackles; the light yellow pair is much harder to depict by comparison with the tones blending in with one another as if an ocular illusion. Grab a detailed look at both sets and the accompanying artwork right below and find them hitting the Chicago retailer on August 9th for a retail of $65 USD.
