Nike’s Air Max 270 Bowfin Returns With More ACG-style Colorways

The Air Max 270 has served as a proper jump-off point for the Swoosh sportswear lineup as the heel-cushioning unit spawned a new generation of lifestyle models. Debuting last Fall, the Air Max 270 Bowfin emerged as a modernized take on an ACG classic from the mid-2000s – the River Spike designed by none other than Nike legend Peter Fogg. The updated silhouette returns with a colorway like something right out of the All Conditions Gear archives as it features hints of the foundational color palette against a concrete grey base, and while the Bowfin was never officially billed as part of Nike’s outdoor-focused footwear and apparel initiative, it might as well be considered part of its extended family. Expect these and a series of other Air Max 270 Bowfins to hit stores this Fall.
