Michael Le Well within the conversation for the some of the best collaborations of the year, sacai‘s LDWaffle and Blazer Mid have pushed Chitose Abe right onto a pedestal the size of fellow notables Jun Takahashi, Hiroshi Fujiwara, and the like. And while we still have two more takes of the retro runner in store for the beginning of 2020, it seems the latter half of the year is graced with one of the first new models from the female designer in quite a few seasons. One trait lives on, fortunately, and that is her hybridized motif, though the specifics of the newfound blueprint are left a mystery in all but its models and three color variations: one a mix of neutrals, the other two more vibrant takes of Sport Fuchsia and Game Royal or of Villain Red and Neptune Green. The silhouette itself will likely be a piecemeal creation composed of ingredients wrought from the brand’s Pegasus and Vaporfly SP runners, maybe even featuring the same doubled sole unit signature to her most coveted. Keep an eye out for future word, but it may be quite a long while as these are rumored to be dropping in the far off Fall/Winter season.
