Gino Iannucci’s Poets Follows Up Their 10-Year-Old Nike SB Blazer With A Bruin React

After nearly a decade since their last Nike SB collaboration, Gino Iannucci’s Poets is back with a surprise follow up on some more modern hardware. Not too, too dissimilar to their Blazer Mid, the much newer Bruin React — whose innovative cushioning likely lies within the misleadingly standard appearing sole unit — is given a coloring largely unassuming with accents mostly at the helm of visual dynamics. Its base is entirely covered in a dark, matte black whose visage just barely looks purple in the right light; overlaid panels as well as the signature toe cap lie in a shade only a few notes darker, with contrast owed solely to the white laces and branding as well as the oversized swoosh whose Barely Volt paint sits as the only bit of discernible color. Typical “Nike SB” text can be found right on the tongue, but infusing Iannucci’s own imprint, the heel tabs stamp with “POETS” in bold embroidery. With insole graphics still yet to be seen and release details under wraps, keep it locked right here for updates as we have them.
